Three Photographsby Cindy L. Sheppard
[Editor’s Note: Except to resize them to fit on this web page, these images have not been cropped, “Photoshopped,” or otherwise adjusted, but are raw and unedited. They were shot on a shivery night in late December 2014 with an Olympus digital camera, using no filters. These colors resulted from decorative ambient lighting in a Rocky Mountain park southwest of Denver, Colorado.] Cindy L. SheppardIssue 2, Winter 2015
One of KYSO Flash’s Contributing Editors, Ms. Sheppard works fulltime as an office manager at a public-works company. She enjoys traveling whenever she can arrange time off. Although she has been shooting photos for thirty years, especially to document her trips, she refuses to consider herself a photographer, saying that she only points the camera and clicks the buttons. We are pleased to include three of her “point and click” images in this issue. Several of her photographs also appear online in Serving House Journal, and two of her “Queen of the Night” photographs appear in the KYSO Flash Anthology (2014), with one of them illuminating the front cover. |
